I love rustic bedroom ideas that start with a neutral palette and then add textures and patterns with different furniture and decorative elements. Nothing says, "I'm in love with my bedroom" like a simple wooden headboard, and it pairs perfectly with charming art and a sleek symmetrical layout.
Importantly, it remains rustic and adds a few modern elements to the room, such as baskets, lamps, or even a bedside table.
But rustic doesn't mean old - wear and tear, and paint does an excellent job of spicing up the setting, whether in the form of bright colors or even a few shades of gray. The linens and pillow provide plenty of colors to add to a rustic bedroom without altering the overall feel.
