Klbko – Try Colors Before You Knit

Are you planning to knit or crochet a sweater with a colorful pattern (like a Norwegian / Fair Isle pattern) and can’t decide which yarn colors to use? Klbko makes it easy. Take a photo of your finished sweater or a photo that inspired you, and in just a few steps you can see how the pattern would look in different colors – before you even buy the yarn and start knitting.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Take a photo of your sweater or select a photo from the gallery
2. Crop the photo to just the sweater
3. Trace the pattern area with your finger – no need to be exact, the app will snap the borders to the actual pattern
4. The app automatically recognizes individual colors in the pattern
5. Tap any color and replace it with another – the shadows and structure of the knitwear will be preserved
6. Save the result to the gallery

COLOR RECOGNITION
• Automatic recognition of colors in a multi-color pattern, including an estimate of their number
• Select a color by tapping the sample or directly on the photo
• Merge similar colors into one
• Adjustable sensitivity: number of colors, merging tolerance, sensitivity to brightness and texture

COLOR CHANGE
• Change color with one tap while preserving yarn shading
• Lighter and darker shades of the same color – just hold the color
• Custom color from the color picker or entered exactly via HEX or RGB
• Return to the originally recognized color with one tap

MY PALETTE
• Your own palette of yarn colors that you have at home or plan to buy
• Pre-selected palette of 48 colors according to the seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter)
• You add, edit and delete colors as you like

ACCURATE PATTERN MARKING
• Fine-tuning the marked area with a brush - painting and erasing
• Zoom in and move the photo with two fingers when marking and when selecting colors
• Optional outline color so that it is clearly visible on each photo

PRIVACY AND SIMPLICITY
• Works without the Internet - photos are processed directly on the phone and are not sent anywhere
• No ads, no registration
• You save the result directly to the phone gallery
• Slovak and English
