The aim of this project is to create a mobile application where virtual reality (VR) 360 and augmented reality (AR) can be used as an innovative teaching and learning aid for non-engineering students to learn to:
• identify different structural elements in real life setting,
• explain the difference between the different load types,
• comprehend load transfer pathways in structural systems,
• visualise deformation and failure modes of structural elements under different loading conditions, and
• identify the different materials used in different structures.
