About Math Quest
Math Quest is a text-based adventure game designed to introduce prospective university students to the broad range of mathematics topics covered in university.
Embark on an epic text-based learning adventure to save Princess Trig, or test your mathematical knowledge in Math Quest's score mode (available now)!
Some learning objectives include:
• Discrete mathematics (probability, counting, graph theory)
• Differential calculus (functions, derivatives, asymptotic behaviour)
• Linear algebra (vectors, matrices)
• Computing Science Algebra (X-bit number encodings, hexadecimal/decimal/binary conversions)
In addition, choose from a variety of background music tracks composed by the development team specifically for your entertainment. Tracks include:
• Math Quest Theme: a retro-throwback synthesized tune written as an homage to the video games of the 90's.
• Stranded in Math Quest: an acoustic-driven track that relaxes the stress you may feel from mathematics
• Journey to Math Quest: feeling brave? Heroic? Save the princess with this background music supporting you throughout the way!
