SMU SMC

SMC (School Monitoring Unit – Classroom Construction) is the official field app of the School Monitoring Unit (SMU), School Education Department, Punjab. It helps Head Teachers and Assistant Education Officers (AEOs) record, monitor, and report classroom construction and missing-facilities projects at schools across Punjab.

This app is intended for authorized education staff only. Login with your official credentials (EMIS code for Head Teachers).

WHO IT IS FOR
• Head Teachers – report construction and progress for their own school
• AEOs – review and enter data for schools under their Markaz, including school location on the map

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Sign in securely and reset your password with OTP
• Select facility categories such as New/Additional Classroom, Partially Damaged, and Fully Damaged
• Complete screening questions and record fund receipt and utilization
• Track construction stage by stage (excavation through finishing)
• Capture and upload site photographs as evidence
• Answer remaining classroom questionnaires
• Upload completion and vouched-account certificates (PDF)
• Stay up to date with in-app updates from Google Play

HOW IT HELPS
SMC replaces paper-based reporting with a single digital workflow. Progress, funds, photos, and certificates are submitted from the field so SMU can monitor missing-facilities classroom projects more accurately and on time.

An internet connection is required to sign in and submit data. Camera permission is used only to capture construction site photos.
