NextSign

NextSign is a native Android client for LibreSign, the electronic signature
app for Nextcloud.

Sign documents waiting for you with a tap, using LibreSign's click-to-sign
method - no password or code entry involved. You can also prepare a
document yourself: share a PDF in from another app (or pick one directly
from NextSign), choose who needs to sign, and place their signature
fields.

The app signs in through the official Nextcloud app's Single Sign-On.
Install the Nextcloud app, add your account there, then authorize NextSign to use it. There is no in-app username/password login.

## Features

- Sign in via the official Nextcloud app's Single Sign-On, with instant switching between previously-approved accounts (and an avatar in the top bar) - no need to repeat the Files app's approval flow
- One list of documents, each showing its status (ready to sign, partially signed, signed, or not assigned to you) - tap a document to see every signer's status and any custom message left by the requester
- Sorted to show what needs your signature first by default; also sortable
by newest, oldest, or name. Pull down to refresh
- A launcher icon badge - a dot or a number, depending on your device and launcher - when documents are waiting on your signature, kept in sync in

- View a document before or after signing, handed off to another installed app via Android's share sheet
- Sign a document with a tap, using LibreSign's click-to-sign method, after a confirmation prompt
- Set up a signature by picking an image or drawing it with a finger or stylus, used automatically when a document needs a visible signature
- Validate a signed document and see LibreSign's own signature/certificate verdict
- Prepare a document for signing: share a PDF in from another app, or pick one directly from NextSign, preview it, search for and select signers, then place as many signature fields as needed per signer across any page
- Choose which account should prepare a document, if more than one Nextcloud account is set up
- Delete a sign request you created, before anyone has signed
- A filter to show only documents that need your attention
- Notifications when a document needs your signature, set independently per account: off, a periodic background check (no extra app needed), or instant delivery via UnifiedPush (needs a small distributor app, e.g. `ntfy`, installed) - choose in Settings. The reminder can be snoozed for a duration you pick, or dismissed until the document is resolved
- Light and dark theme support, follows the system by default
- Available in English, Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, and Russian, with an in-app language picker (or follow the device's system language)

## Requirements

- Android 8.0 (API 26) or later
- The official Nextcloud app installed, with an account already added
- A Nextcloud server with the LibreSign app installed
- At least one installed app able to open documents (e.g. a PDF viewer), to view a document before or after signing

NextSign requires the official Nextcloud app for sign-in. Add your account there first, then authorize NextSign to use it from inside the app.
