About BABOCHKA
BABOCHKA is an ambitious project on the verge of the collapse of the USSR. In 1988, the first private boutique was opened in St. Petersburg, then still Leningrad, in the very center of the city on Furmanova Street (now Gagarinskaya).
The boutique network has become well-known far beyond Russia, and the number of boutiques and brands represented in them has tripled, including partnerships with fashion houses such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Fendi. The boutiques have been awarded the prestigious Italian Alta Gamma award, which is given to official retailers for merit in the fashion business.
Today, the BABOCHKA boutique chain is rightfully considered a cultural heritage and a visiting card of St. Petersburg. Mono-brand boutiques Valentino, Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna and Berluti decorate the central part of the city with their showcases, and multi-brand boutiques are an absolute must visit for all city guests and residents.
