CrownDraught

CrownDraught is a draughts and checkers app for one player and an engine that
runs entirely on your phone. No ads, no network, no account, and nothing to
buy: every part of the app is open from the first launch.

TWO RULE SETS, BOTH IN FULL
International draughts on a 10x10 board with 20 pieces a side, and English
checkers on 8x8 with 12. In international rules a man captures in all four
diagonals, a king flies any distance along a diagonal, and only the longest
chain may be played. In English rules a man captures forward only, a king
steps one square, and any capture you like is legal. Capture is mandatory in
both: when a capture exists, a quiet move is not offered at all.

SIX LEVELS, ALL OPEN
Beginner, Casual, Club, Strong, Expert and Master. Each level searches deeper
and takes longer over a move. The two easiest levels make real mistakes on
purpose, so a first win is a real win. The engine thinks in short slices, so
the board stays responsive while it works.

CHAINS YOU CAN SEE
When two chains end on the same square, the app lists them both in full
notation with the number of pieces each one takes, and you choose. Jumps are
animated step by step, so a long chain is something you watch, not something
that happens at once.

THE MOVE LIST
Every finished game is kept, the last 20 of them, and can be rewound half-move
by half-move on the board. The archive is open from the first launch.

YOUR GAME IS SAVED
Leave in the middle of a game and come back to the same half-move, with the
rule set, the move list and the clock exactly where you left them.

STATISTICS, PER RULE SET
Games played, won, drawn and lost, kept for each level and each rule set
separately. Win rate, win streaks, average game length, captures per game, the
longest chain you ever played, how often you crowned first, wins where you did
not lose a single piece, and how your games actually ended.

MADE FOR ONE HAND
Tap a piece to see where its chains end, then tap the square. Pieces that are
obliged to capture are outlined. Ask for confirmation before a move lands,
turn the jump animation off, and pick a light or dark theme.

COINS ARE EARNED BY PLAYING
Coins come from wins, wins without losing a piece, win streaks and your first
game of the day. They pay for a hint, an undo, and for the extra board themes,
piece sets and king frames. They cannot be bought: the app sells nothing and
takes no payments.

NOT A GAMBLING GAME
There are no bets, no chips, no wheels and no prizes. Coins cannot be won by
wagering, cannot be transferred to another player and cannot be exchanged for
anything outside the app.

OFFLINE AND PRIVATE
The app has no network code at all. Nothing is collected, nothing is sent
anywhere, no advertising identifier is read, and it asks for no permissions:
no camera, no microphone, no location, no contacts, no notifications.
