St. Mary Magdalene de Pazzi. (1566 - 1607), was an Italian Carmelite nun and mystic. When only nine de' Pazzi was taught how to meditate on the Passion of Christ by the family chaplain. At 10 she received her First Communion and made a vow of virginity the same year. At 12, she experienced her first ecstasy and subsequently had many mystical experiences. She is said to have reached such a high level of sanctity that she could read the thoughts of others and predict future events.
