Welcome to the 98th Congress of the German Society of Neurology, which will take place in Berlin from November 12 to 15, 2025. This year's congress theme is "Epileptic Seizures: A Neurological Challenge."

Epileptic seizures are clinically relevant in almost all areas of neurology – they occur in numerous diseases and often significantly influence their course. This makes them a central topic in neurological research and practice.
Current findings on the hyperexcitability of neuronal networks, for example in Alzheimer's disease or brain tumors, are particularly exciting. These new scientific approaches illustrate how closely clinical and experimental neurology are intertwined – and how important interdisciplinary exchange is.

The DGN Congress invites you to discuss these developments together and learn from one another – in a practical, scientifically sound manner, and always with an eye on the future of our discipline.

Our steering committee – supported by the DGN Continuing Education Academy and Young Neurology – has developed a program that covers the entire spectrum of neurology. From practice-relevant topics to scientific excellence, everything is included to offer you four exciting and inspiring days.
