Scan a shopping list, get a checklist
1. Import screenshots or photos of a list: an order someone forwarded, a text message, a photo of a printed note or a paper catalog.
2. Every line is matched to a real product in the store catalog, so you know what to look for on the store shelf.
3. Extract and organize items into a clean, editable checklist you can sort and check off while you walk the store.

Barcodes
Item in your hand? Scan a barcode with the camera and it goes onto your list with the code attached, confirmed off the package instead of guessed in a search box. The scanner reads the standard retail barcodes printed on groceries, including UPC-A and EAN-13. It can also show a product's barcode on screen at true print size, for the checkout moments when the label is torn and you need the code in front of you.

An honest note on coverage: our product and barcode database is filled in store by store, deep for some chains and still thin for others, so barcode features work best where product data is available. It keeps growing as people scan barcodes. Screenshots, photos, catalog search and the checklist itself do not depend on it.

Matching, not just reading
Reading text off an image is the easy half. The harder half is knowing that one line on someone else's list means one specific product, in the right size and flavor. Turbo Scanner matches each line to a product in the catalog, shows you what it picked, and lets you swap it for a closer match in two taps. That is what keeps you from carrying home the wrong item.
