TUNeVACC app was developed to register, track under 5s immunizations, growth and other services in Tunisia. The app is used by a health facility worked to register children and record their immunizations for children living in their catchment area. The health worker can also record height and weight for a child, monitor their growth through Z-scores as well as record other services provided including Vitamin A and deworming. The app is also used to send reminders to caregivers reminding them of their children’s upcoming or due services. The app also automates reporting process from the health facilities to the national level.
TUNeVACC is powered by OpenSRP (smartregister.org), an open-source digital health platform geared towards frontline health workers.
