The present application before you (Shariah Dinar Calculator) meets the needs of those who are responsible for applying the jurisprudential issues related to the dinar.
Let us mention some resources that the person in charge needs to know the value of the dinar, which are:
The first resource: In Zakat, scholars mention the conditions for the obligation of Zakat, including reaching the threshold. In the Zakat of gold, they mention that the first threshold is twenty dinars, and the second threshold is four dinars, after the twenty dinars.
The second resource: In Khums, scholars mention the obligation of Khums in metal if it reaches the threshold, which is twenty dinars.
The third resource: In Diya (blood money), scholars mention that one of the options for the complete Diya is a thousand dinars, and the Diya of crimes varies according to the crime. Let us mention this issue, which is a very common issue:
(Fatwa No. 376): For causing redness in the face by slapping, the compensation is one and a half dinars; for causing greenness, three dinars; and for causing blackness, six dinars. If these things occur on the body, the compensation is half of what it would be for the face."

Thus, the need arose to know the weight and price of the dinar to apply various Shariah issues.
Therefore, we programmed this application to cover the gap in this field and meet the needs of believers.
Application Features:
a- The app interface is available in three languages: Arabic, Persian, and English.
b- The app has a field to enter the number of gold dinars, and another field to enter the current price per gram of gold.
The app gives three results, which are:
1- The total weight of dinars in grams according to the standard chosen by the user.
2- The total price of the overall weight of dinars.
3- The price of the dinar according to its weight and according to the standard chosen and the price of gold entered by the user.
c- The app provides the user with two options:
the first is for the user to enter the price of a gram of gold himself,
and the second option is for the app to obtain the current price from the global gold market based on the US dollar.
d- If the user wants to enter the price, he clicks on the "Calculate" Button. If he wants to get the current price from the global gold market, he clicks on the "Current Price" Button, and the app will retrieve the current price of gold based on the US dollar from the market.
F - The standards for calculating the dinar are as follows: The first standard: The weight of the dinar is 3.48 grams according to the theory of Ayatollah his Eminence Al-Sayyid Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani,may his shadow be extended, and this standard is the default standard for implementation.
The second standard: The weight of the dinar is 3.45 grams according to the theory of Ayatollah his Eminence Al-Khoei, may his soul be sanctified. The third standard:
The weight of the dinar is 3.6 grams according to the theory of Ayatollah his Eminence Al-Khamenei, may his shadow be extended.
