OrthoExamine lite is the perfect app for orthopedic examination techniques
Discover OrthoExamine lite – The slimmer version of OrthoExamine with hand-picked content for a quick start. In this version we give a small foretaste of the full version of the app, OrthoExamine, with the full content regarding the knee joint. Any content of the other joints can only be seen in the full version.
OrthoExamine lite is an APP that names, explains and demonstrates the most important orthopedic examination techniques to the user quickly and clearly. This “coat pocket” APP has an offline mode, for example in the event of poor network coverage in the clinic.
The physical examination is a central component in the diagnosis of illnesses and an important qualification in medical practice. A qualified examination integrates anatomical and biomechanical principles and requires precise manual execution.
OrthoExamine lite integrates the teaching of these basics and the correct execution of the important examination techniques of the knee joint. The APP's well-thought-out navigation makes it possible to quickly and specifically call up specific joints or view a structured, comprehensive examination of the body region.
The different detailed information content of individual navigation levels of OrthoExamine lite serves different previous medical knowledge. OrthoExamine lite can therefore be used for students to learn orthopedic clinical examinations, to guide junior doctors in further training, and as a reference work for various medical specialist disciplines. The APP does not claim to be complete, but rather focuses on a didactically clear presentation of the content.
OrthoExamine lite benefits from the editors' decades of experience in teaching and clinical practice: Professor Maximilian Rudert is full professor of the Chair of Orthopedics at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg and medical director of the König-Ludwig-Haus Orthopedic Clinic and has decades of experience in the field - and further training of students and assistant doctors. Dr. Thomas Schäfer and Dr. Kilian Rückl are lecturers at the Chair of Orthopedics and have been coordinating orthopedic teaching in human medicine studies at the University of Würzburg for years. Mr. Markus Koch is an assistant doctor at the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Würzburg and is significantly involved in the digitalization of teaching. Together we hope you enjoy using OrthoExamine lite.
