MedVeil

MedVeil allows you to locate and pixelate visible text in compatible videos and convert certain DICOM files for viewing.

Import one or more files from your phone or share them with MedVeil from another app. Keep the originals in your library and organize the pixelated copies separately.

Select the videos you want to process. You can work one by one, choose any pending video, or start automatic detection. Add adjustable frames to limit the areas where text is searched. Adjust the brightness and size of the pixelation in Settings.

Play the copies within the app and export one or more files. Output options: MP4 H.264 with configurable quality, PNG of the first frame, or save a pre-generated copy without recompression.

The interface is available in English, French, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Hindi, Portuguese, and Italian. The language of the text in the video may differ from the interface language; detection accuracy varies depending on the alphabet, size, contrast, and background.

Processing is performed on the device. MedVeil does not require an in-app account and is ad-free. Files remain under user control. Sharing or saving them outside the app requires user action.

Detection may miss text or flag incorrect areas. Review copies before sharing. MedVeil does not guarantee complete anonymization and does not necessarily remove identifying information contained in audio, images, or external files. It is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace clinical systems. DICOM compatibility depends on the file encoding; it does not support all variants of the standard.
