The contents of this app were originally published in print as: Kayǎn - Engle – Katan Liphlon Atabaotabǎn (2016), by the Kayan Literature and Culture Committee (Kayǎn Lilai dò Tahtǒn Kòmiti).

This lexicon gives glosses of Kayan words in Myanmar and English. You can search the dictionary in any of those languages (providing your phone has the capability). This edition of the app uses Zawgyi font and encoding instead of Unicode. The Kayan language is spoken primarily in Myanmar (Burma) in Kayah (Karenni) State, Shan State, Kayin (Karen) State and other areas. It is also spoken in Thailand and many other countries where Kayan people have gone to live.

Known issues:
-Uncheck “Match Whole Words” when you search Myanmar text for more results
-Use the newest MultiLing O Keyboard to be able to search Kayan words with diacritic marks (Android 5 and higher)
