GATSA Activate

GATSA Activate is the official conference companion for Georgia TSA, the Georgia association of the Technology Student Association - a non-profit career and technical student organization for middle school and high school students.

It replaces the printed program handed out at our conferences. A booklet cannot be corrected: rooms change, times move, and results go up on paper walls that hundreds of students crowd around. Venue Wi-Fi is unreliable, so a website is not a substitute either.

HOW TO GET IN

The app is private to conference attendees. Enter the 6-character conference code printed on your badge or conference materials, or scan its QR code, and the program unlocks. Nothing is visible before that.

WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL

Conference content downloads to your device the first time you unlock it and is served from the phone after that. The schedule, map, events, sessions and information pages all work with no connection - which matters, because venue Wi-Fi at these events routinely fails.

SIGN IN FOR YOUR OWN SCHEDULE

Signing in is optional and everything above works without it. Sign in with your existing Georgia TSA membership account and you also get:

- My Schedule - your own registered events, with turn-in times and rooms
- My Results - your competition results and advancement status

Advisors can also request a replacement conference badge for a student on their roster.

PRIVACY

The app is free. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no in-app purchases. No account can be created in the app - memberships are created by school advisors through the normal registration process. There is no messaging, no chat, no comments and no user-generated content, and attendees cannot contact one another through the app.
