About Poker Mania
The main gameplay is derived from the popular Indian card game, 3 Patti.
This game simplifies and offline-izes it.
Objective: The game is typically played with 3 to 6 players using a standard 52-card deck without jokers. The objective is to have the best hand or card combination among all players.
Gameplay: Each player is dealt three cards face-down by the dealer. The players can then take turns to bet or fold based on the strength of their hand and their confidence in winning.
Hand Rankings: Similar to traditional poker, hands are ranked based on their strength:
Trail or Set: Three cards of the same rank. This is the highest-ranking hand.
Pure Sequence: Three consecutive cards of the same suit.
Sequence: Three consecutive cards not necessarily of the same suit.
Color: Three cards of the same suit but not in sequence.
Pair: Two cards of the same rank and one random card.
High Card: When none of the above combinations are achieved, the highest card is considered.
Betting Rounds: Players can bet or raise based on the strength of their hand. The game progresses through several betting rounds until:
All players except one fold, in which case the remaining player wins the pot.
Multiple players remain until the end, and the one with the highest-ranking hand wins.
Blind and Seen Players: In some variations, players can choose to play blind or seen. Blind players can only see their own cards, while seen players can see their cards and decide to continue playing based on the strength of their hand.
Winning: The player with the highest-ranking hand or the last remaining player after others have folded wins the pot. The pot consists of the total bets made by all players during the game.
