The app enables users to reserve tickets, review visitor information, and explore museum content and collections. The app also includes an interactive exploration of key Los Angeles film industry locations, as well as features designed to be accessed only in the museum’s galleries, such as audio tours narrated by film artists and scholars and augmented reality (AR) experiences.

Discover Exhibitions, Collections, and More: Discover stories from the museum’s exhibitions, explore collections that showcase cinema as a living art form, and bring to life scripts, posters, photographs, and three-dimensional objects on view in the galleries. (Available September 30, 2021)

Take a Guided Audio Tour: Take an audio tour of the museum, personalized by iconic filmmakers and museum leaders. (Available September 30, 2021)

Experience Augmented Reality: Activate film stills, posters, Polaroids, and script pages to view supporting photographs and videos that provide more context to the artifacts.
