Sunna – Plant Care

Most plant apps water on a timer. Sunna follows the light.

Your plants drink more in June than in January — especially in the North. Sunna computes daylight for YOUR location and window direction and adjusts every watering interval through the seasons. At 60°N, the same pothos needs roughly half the water in winter.

WHAT IT DOES
• Smart watering — intervals that follow season, latitude and window
• A living home screen — dawn, day, golden hour and night follow your real sun times
• Care reminders — water, feed, mist, leaf-cleaning, repotting
• Plant identification — snap a photo, get the species
• Plant stories — save the AI's description to the plant's card
• Health check — up to 3 photos, a diagnosis with confidence level, stored on the plant as its last health check
• Find my plant — answer 4 questions, get species that fit your home
• 200 curated species with verified care data, soil advice and pet-toxicity warnings (ASPCA-checked)
• Seeds & cuttings — gentler care until they're established
• Care journal, progress photos, share cards
• Light meter (on phones with a light sensor)
• Rooms, bulk care, custom plants — and you can edit any plant's care

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No tracking. Your plants, photos and notes stay on your device. Photos you choose to send for identification or a health scan are processed and immediately discarded — your photos remain yours. Backup and restore via your device backup or a local export file.

FREE & PREMIUM
The free tier is fully functional: 3 plants, 3 identifications, a health scan and 2 photos per plant. Premium removes the limits.

Plant toxicity information is guidance, not a safety guarantee — keep plants out of reach of pets and children and contact a vet or doctor if ingestion is suspected.

New: a living home screen that follows your real sun — dawn to golden hour to night — plus plant stories from the AI and health checks saved to each plant.
