Artemis II Tracker

Track NASA's historic Artemis II mission — the first crewed journey to the Moon since Apollo 17 in 1972.

Artemis II Tracker gives you a front-row seat to follow Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, and Mission Specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen as they fly the Orion spacecraft around the Moon on a 10-day mission.

LIVE MISSION TRACKING
• Real-time position tracking with animated cislunar map showing Orion between Earth and Moon
• Distance from Earth and Moon, velocity, altitude, and mission elapsed time
• Signal delay calculator showing light-speed communication lag
• Distance record tracker — will Artemis II break Apollo 13's record of 248,655 miles?
• Automatic switch to live NASA telemetry (AROW) once the mission is underway

MISSION DASHBOARD
• Precision countdown to launch (or T+ elapsed time after liftoff)
• Current mission phase with detailed status
• NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day with link to full article
• Live space weather data — solar flares, coronal mass ejections, and geomagnetic storms from NASA DONKI

10-DAY MISSION TIMELINE
• Day-by-day breakdown of the entire mission profile
• Launch → High Earth Orbit → Translunar Injection → Coast to Moon → Lunar Flyby → Return → Reentry → Splashdown
• Key milestones and maneuvers for each flight day

CREW PROFILES
• Detailed bios for all four crew members
• Mission roles, agency backgrounds, and career highlights
• First Canadian beyond low Earth orbit (Jeremy Hansen, CSA)

SPACE WEATHER MONITOR
• Real-time solar activity from NASA's DONKI service
• Coronal mass ejections, solar flares, and geomagnetic storm alerts
• Relevant to crew safety during deep-space travel outside Earth's magnetosphere

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
• Imperial (miles/mph) and metric (km/km/h) unit toggle
• Mission Control premium upgrade for advanced tracking features
• Support development with optional tips
• Portrait-optimized dark interface inspired by NASA Mission Control

DATA SOURCES
All mission data comes from official NASA APIs (api.nasa.gov). Space weather data is sourced from NASA's DONKI (Database Of Notifications, Knowledge, Information). Pre-launch telemetry uses physics-based orbital mechanics simulation; post-launch telemetry uses NASA's AROW real-time tracking system.
