Daily Killer Sudoku: Cagewise

Cagewise is killer sudoku for people who like to think things through. A wrong number never ends your puzzle, every hint comes with its reason, and a new Daily puzzle arrives each day.

Fill the 9×9 grid with 1–9 so that each row, column and 3×3 box contains each number once, as in sudoku. The dotted cages are your clues: the numbers in a cage add up to the small sum in its corner, and a cage never repeats a number. Each puzzle has a single solution that logic alone can reach, and a solver verifies every puzzle before it goes into the app. No guessing needed.

NO LIVES TO LOSE
• Wrong numbers cost you nothing: no lives, no time limit.
• Use as many hints and undos as you like, all free.
• In Classic the clock stays hidden until you finish. An unfinished puzzle is saved automatically, level by level.

HINTS WITH REASONS
Tap Hint once to see where to look, and again to see what to do and why: "The cages inside this box total 34, so the 2 other cells total 45 − 34 = 11. Minus the placed numbers, this cell is 3." Every hint names the technique behind it, such as Cage combinations, Hidden single, Rule of 45 or Locked candidates, so you pick up the methods as you play. If a number doesn't match the solution, the hint points to that cell first. Hints work from the numbers on the board, not from your notes, so they stay right even when your notes are off.

DAILY PUZZLES AND SIX LEVELS
• Daily — One new puzzle a day, identical for every player on the same date. Easy, Medium and Hard take turns. Build a streak, check your week at a glance and share each result.
• Classic — Pick Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert or Master. All six are open from the start. Beginner starts with a few numbers filled in, a gentle way into killer sudoku. From Easy on, the cage sums are all you have to go on.
• Records — Your fastest and average times for every level, your Daily streak and a calendar of the days you solved.

TOOLS AND OPTIONS
• Notes with auto-clear, Erase and unlimited undo.
• Cage combination helper (optional): pick a cell to see every number combination for its cage, and tap one to add it to your notes.
• Switch on or off: show rule conflicts, show mistakes, highlight same numbers, number-first input and large numbers.
• A short tutorial on a small 6×6 board shows how cages and sums work. Skip it any time, or replay it from Settings.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Plays offline, Daily included, and needs no account or login.
• The only ad is a single small banner along the bottom of the screen. There are no in-app purchases.
• Soft copper-bell sounds, vibration and gentle effects. Switch each effect off separately, or tone everything down with Reduce effects.
• Conflicts, mistakes and finished cages are marked with shapes as well as color.
• Available in English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
