ForkTeller: Seoul Subway Guide

Standing on a Seoul subway platform, staring at a sign full of station names, and not sure which side your train leaves from? Snap the sign. ForkTeller tells you which way to go: LEFT or RIGHT.

Seoul's subway is fast, clean and huge, but the platform signs assume you already know the line. ForkTeller reads the station names on the sign for you, works out where your train is heading, and answers in one big word. No more guessing, no more riding three stops the wrong way.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick where you want to go. Search in English or Korean.
2. Point your camera at the platform sign, or choose a photo you already took.
3. Forky, our chubby orange fork, reads every station on it and gives you the verdict: LEFT or RIGHT. It takes about a second.

KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE
ForkTeller uses your location to find the station you are standing in, so the answer fits the platform in front of you. Underground with no signal? Snap the station's name board instead and it figures it out.

YOUR WHOLE TRIP, MAPPED
See the full route on a hand-drawn subway map, with every stop and every transfer in order. Switching lines? Scan again at the transfer platform and Forky points the way.

NEXT TRAINS AND FAST-EXIT DOORS
Check when the next trains leave, and which car and door put you closest to the exit or the transfer at your stop, wherever the official data has it. Small thing, big time saver at rush hour.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Signs are read on your phone. Your photos are never uploaded, and your location never leaves your device. No account, no sign-up.
