About VGH Gesundheit

With the "VGH Gesundheit" app, VGH customers can submit their invoices and certain contract documents and receive service statements digitally. In addition, our fully insured and supplementary health insurance customers can access our healthcare partner TeleClinic (online doctor's visit**) via the app.

What features does "VGH Gesundheit" have?

Submissions
- Easily submit invoices, prescriptions, or contract documents such as notifications of contract changes (foreign invoices generally require the original by mail).
- How it works: Take a photo of the receipt or insert a PDF and submit it.

eHealth
- Assistance with the technical and personal requirements for using the separate "VGH eHealth" app.
- Once all necessary requirements have been met, you will automatically be redirected to the "VGH eHealth" app, where you can use the digital applications (e-prescriptions and online check-in).

Postbox
- Receive service invoices digitally in the app
- Receive email notifications about new invoices in the Postbox

Profile
- Report changes such as last name, address, bank details, or email address
- View your health insurance number (KVNR)
- Activate or deactivate the Postbox feature

Online doctor's visit**
- Conduct a simple doctor's visit online, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, for which in-person medical contact is not required according to generally accepted professional standards
- You can speak to a doctor directly or via video call at a convenient time
- Receive prescriptions via the app and have them redeemed or delivered directly at a partner pharmacy

**A service provided by TeleClinic. The doctor treating you via TeleClinic decides whether – depending on the condition – a digital doctor's visit is medically advisable or whether in-person medical contact and, if necessary, further on-site diagnostic assessment is necessary. VGH Provinzial Krankenversicherung Hannover AG reimburses all policyholders with full health insurance and supplementary health insurance for the costs of online doctor's visits up to the agreed-upon rate.

Health Record
- Record and manage vaccination records, medications, medication plans, doctor's letters, and x-rays yourself
- Reminder function for medication intake and vaccination appointments

Who can use the app?
The "VGH Gesundheit" app is available free of charge to VGH Provinzial Krankenversicherung Hannover AG policyholders. A one-time registration and an active health insurance contract are required for use. Customers who have only purchased international travel health insurance cannot use the "VGH Gesundheit" app, as invoices from abroad must always be submitted in original form.

How secure is my data?
Your data is stored encrypted and protected from unauthorized access by extensive security measures. VGH Provinzial Krankenversicherung Hannover AG does not have access to the data in the app.

Can the data in the app be synchronized to another device?

Optionally, the data in the app can be encrypted and stored in a cloud and transferred to other devices.

How do I log in?
To use "VGH Gesundheit," register in the app with your customer details. You will then receive your login details by mail shortly.

What system requirements are required?
- Version 9 or higher
- Internet connection
