Philippines News Online - Pinoy News For OFW

Do you surf the news often? If yes, you cannot miss on this unique news app!

With "Philippines News Online" we provide all Filipinos with an easy and convenient way to stay up to date on news and important events of the nation through their Android portable device.

Through a single application interface the user can load news from many different reliable and reputable Filipino online news sources. In short, instead of having to load many different websites, the news will all be aggregated to the app through RSS feeds.

What are RSS Feeds?

RSS feeds load the exact news from the website, the moment they are published, but they do it in an easy to read layout - all news entries show up in rows, with an associated image and small summary. When you see something you are interested in reading, you can click on it and view the whole story. You can also choose to visit the webpage where that particular news entry appeared.

The advantages of RSS feeds are numerous:

* Less time consumed on news browsing, because you read what is truly important for you only.
* You consume less data from your plan, if you use 3G or 4G networks.
* You avoid content "disguised" as news, such as promotional material for products and sponsored content with only purpose of affiliate marketing.
* You view news only through a single layout. You do not have to bare with weird styles and changes between webpages.
* You can cross check the news between the RSS feeds to check for their reliability.

We have included the most popular web portals for news in the country! Politics, society, economy, business, even lifestyle and sports news are all included! As a result, we are sure that all your news browsing needs will be covered by this compact and easy to use news application!
