Side A
1. Tap, Fly the Staff — the opening number. A bright yellow quaver bounces along a glowing staff on a deep purple stage, rising with each tap and falling between them.
2. Dodge the Equaliser — orange and yellow equaliser columns stack up from the floor and hang from the ceiling, and the gap between them is the only way through.
3. Small Quavers — little floating quavers wait between the bars. Gather enough of them on a track and the stars follow, up to three each.
4. Four Sides — Baroque Hall with harpsichord calm, Jazz Club with swinging gaps, Rock Arena with faster riffs and Synth City to close.
5. Twenty Tracks — five per side, from Prelude and Fugue to Bebop, Power Chord and Finale, each a few bars longer than the last, with 60 stars on the whole record.
Side B
1. Moving Parts — from Rock Arena onwards the equalisers start to drift, and in Synth City they move further still.
2. Encore — the endless mode, where the song never ends, the gaps tighten and the tempo climbs, with your longest run counted in bars.
3. Encore History — the date, quavers and bars of recent runs, with the longest marked by a trophy.
4. Twenty-Four Cards — illustrated music history, from bone flutes more than 40,000 years old to the first piano and the Moog synthesiser.
5. The Quiz — ten questions with twelve seconds each, followed by a stats page and thirteen awards. Plays offline, no account required.
