Tallk.me brings your extension to your mobile phone. Instead of relying on a desk phone or a computer, you can answer, make, and transfer calls from your customer service department wherever you are—using the same extension and system your company already uses.

It's not a shortcut to a website. The app has a native telephony layer: the extension connects to your company's server, the audio is treated by the device as a real call, and the call screen appears over the lock screen, even with your phone in your pocket.

MAIN FEATURES

• Receive calls from your extension on your mobile phone. The call screen appears over the lock screen, with touch and vibration.

• Know who's calling. The app shows the name and, if available, the person's photo, instead of a random number.

• Answer calls with the app closed. A notification wakes up the app when someone calls, even if it's not open.

• Continue receiving calls with the screen off. The app keeps the extension connection alive in the background and renews it before it expires.

• Transfer the call. Search for the extension or contact by name and transfer without having to memorize numbers.

• Missed calls. Calls that rang and were not answered are recorded — including calls that arrived while the device was disconnected from the server.

• Messages. New messages from the service arrive as notifications, grouped by conversation.

• Call controls: mute, speakerphone, and a shortcut to return to the ongoing call.

• Agent panel. Your entire web-based service system remains accessible within the app.

• Update notification when a newer version is available.

HOW IT WORKS

Log in with the same credentials you already use in the Tallk.me system. The app connects your extension and shows on the screen when it is ready to receive calls — and notifies you when it is not, instead of letting you find out in the missed call.

ACCOUNT REQUIRED

This is a work application and requires an active account on the Tallk.me system, provided by the company that contracts the service. It is not possible to create an account through the application.

WHY EACH PERMISSION

• Microphone — for you to speak during calls.

• Notifications — to alert you of calls, messages, and missed calls.

• Contacts (read-only) — to find people by name when transferring a call. The application never alters your contact list.

• Foreground service and alarms — to keep the extension connected and reachable with the application in the background.

• Screen overlay — to show the incoming call even when the phone is locked.
