About 로마 한국어 오디오 가이드
Rome Korean Audio Guide App
I have been taking guests around Rome for over 10 years. I usually walk over 20,000 steps a day. It is tiring for the guests, but it is tiring for me as well. That is why I always walk the shortest possible route. In Rome, even a single visible statue has a story. Guests ask about everything they see.
"What is this?" "Why is that like that?"
The Same Mistake
First-time visitors to Rome get confused about the way. After seeing the Colosseum and leaving, they don't realize they came the way and end up passing near the Colosseum again an hour later. I, on the other hand, already know where I start and where I end before I even start walking. This app is exactly the same. Every location is marked on the map with numbers and arrows.
To prevent the question "What is this?"
Everyone is familiar with places like the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. So, the moment they see them, they exclaim "Wow!" in awe. However, as you walk through downtown Rome, everything you see while moving toward those famous spots looks like a ruin. I am curious. However, the guide simply trudged along. Although curious, guests often miss the timing to ask questions while frantically chasing after the guide for fear of getting lost.
I have included as much information as possible to prevent such questions from arising. The Forum of Rome alone is divided into 28 sections, and the Vatican Museums into 33 exhibition halls. It is not that I spent 10 years just visiting tourist attractions; since Rome is my neighborhood where I lived for 15 years, I know every nook and cranny of the alleys inside and out. I did not simply transcribe guidebooks; I captured exactly what I read and heard firsthand while living there.
The reason I divided the course into three routes is not because there are many historical sites.
There were teams that couldn't even sleep in Rome and left after only a few hours because their flight schedules got messed up. Usually, people spend about a day in Rome before moving on to a tour of Southern Italy. Almost no one spends more than two days just in Rome. It is not easy to visit Europe even once, and given the circumstances in Korea, it is difficult to take a long vacation. In fact, Rome has enough historical sites to last more than a week. However, the criterion I used to divide the courses was not the number of sites, but the time available to the tourists.
