Mame - Our Family Pet

Mame is a tiny creature born inside your phone. It can only be in one place at a time.

■ You always know where it is
When Mame is on Mom's phone, yours shows an empty nest. Send it to Dad and it travels there. Once two phones have met over a QR code, Mame will sometimes wander over on its own.

■ Food is photos
Every morning Mame asks for "something green-ish" or "something red". Take it with the in-app camera and Mame eats. Five levels of joy, in motion and vibration. Same thing or same spot, and Mame is less impressed: "I want one from farther away." The colors it eats become its body color.

■ It remembers you
Talk to it and it learns about you, differently for each person. What you tell it in private stays private. Read the notebook, forget lines with one tap.

■ Memory stays on the device
Conversation comes from a small AI running on the phone. Nothing goes to the internet, photos included. When Mame travels, only an encrypted box passes through a relay the server cannot open. No account.
