The Ellipse RemoteCare App is an application that allows you to use Telemedicine services.
The app allows you to:
• Access Telemonitoring or Telecare plans to view the activities to be performed (e.g., vital signs measurement, medication reminders)
• View Televisit and Telecare appointments with the option to communicate remotely with a doctor or healthcare professional via video call.
• Record vital signs - manually or in real time using medical devices provided by your healthcare facility.
• Track symptoms or significant events of the day using the Diary feature.
Intended Users
• Patients and caregivers registered for telemonitoring and telecare services and authorized to use the "ellipse RemoteCare App" mobile application.
Information and Warnings
• Ellipse RemoteCare is a Class IIa medical software in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745.
• The app does not necessarily require the use of medical devices; it can operate in standalone mode without connecting to any device.
• The app serves as a support tool for remote care pathways already managed by the healthcare facility; the app is not intended to make clinical decisions, does not provide diagnoses, or suggest treatments for the patient.
• Use of the app is subject to activation of the service by healthcare organizations that adopt the Ellipse RemoteCare telemedicine platform from Engineering Ingegneria Informatica SpA; user access is permitted only after prior authorization by the relevant healthcare facility.
• The app is not intended under any circumstances to manage emergency or life-saving interventions; for any concerns, symptoms, clinical decisions, or changes in your health, you should always consult your doctor or a qualified healthcare provider.
