FFGuardian

FFGuardian is an Android security app designed to help you monitor your device's security status and identify potential risks.

The app analyzes installed applications, checks device security configurations, checks for apps configured for debugging, and provides an easy-to-interpret security score.
Web Shield and Android VPN Access
FFGuardian is an application dedicated to device security. The optional Web Shield feature uses Android VPN Service to create a local security tunnel on the device. This allows FFGuardian to monitor DNS requests and block domains identified as malicious, phishing, or scam-related before they are opened.
Web Shield is activated exclusively by the user and requires Android VPN permission. VPN Service is used only for the app's security features. Web Shield does not use user traffic for advertising or monetization purposes and does not route browsing through a remote FFGuardian VPN server. Allowed DNS requests are forwarded via encrypted DNS-over-TLS.

FFGuardian includes local scans, installed app checks, network status checks, screen lock checks, USB debugging and unknown sources detection.

Some checks may use remote reputation services over HTTPS connections to compare technical hashes and contribute to risk assessment.

Key Features:
• Device Smart Scan
• Installed App Checks
• Detection of Apps with Active Debugging
• Security Score
