Movie Diary - Info

Movie Diary is a film and TV companion: look up anything ever made, keep track of what you want to see, and build a record of what you have watched and what you thought of it. To be clear about what this app is — Movie Diary does not play or stream films. It is a reference and tracking app: information, trailers on YouTube, and your own library. SEARCH EVERYTHING Search every film, series and person in one of the largest movie databases in the world. Cast lists, crew, runtimes, release dates, synopses, posters and trailers. BROWSE WHAT'S ON Now Playing, Popular, Upcoming and Trending — updated continuously, so you always know what is in cinemas and what is coming. YOUR LIBRARY Three shelves: Watchlist, Watched and Favourites. Score anything out of 10 and write your own note while it is fresh. Your library is yours — it stays on your device and is never uploaded. PICKS FROM YOUR OWN RATINGS The For You screen learns from the scores you give. It reads which genres, eras and styles you actually return to, then ranks suggestions against that and tells you plainly why each one is there — "Crime and Drama, both strong in your ratings". It is built from your library, not from a popularity chart. YOUR VIEWING, IN NUMBERS See how many hours you have watched, which genres dominate your library, how your taste spreads across the decades, and whether you score films more generously than everyone else does. COLLECTIONS WORTH READING Eight hand-written collections — Sunday Afternoon, Lights Off, The Long 1970s, Ideas First and more. Themes we chose and wrote up ourselves, not an auto-generated top 100. ALSO • Built for iPhone and iPad • Full light and dark mode • Share anything you have rated • No account, no sign-up, no email required Movie Diary does not host, stream, download or distribute any film or television content. All titles, synopses, artwork and trailer links are supplied by The Movie Database (TMDB) through its public API and remain the property of their respective rights holders. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
