About Baby Monitor Camera

A little closer. Even from the next room. Turn two iPhones or iPads into a baby station and a parent station. Baby Monitor Camera helps you check the nursery, listen to sounds, and send a reassuring voice message over a local device connection. No account or subscription is required. CHECK IN WITH A GLANCE Open the nursery camera from your parent device. Switch between front and back cameras, adjust video quality and frame rate, and use the flashlight when needed. LISTEN AND RESPOND Receive sound alerts when the nursery noise rises above your chosen sensitivity. Listen to short audio clips from the room. Hold Talk to record your voice, then release to play it on the baby station. SETTLE INTO THE NIGHT Play a lullaby or white noise from the parent station. Choose a warm night light, a dim screen, or a dark screen on the nursery device. Sound detection pauses while a lullaby or voice message plays. PAIR WITH CONFIDENCE Connect your stations using a six-digit code and approve the invitation on the parent device. The app remembers your paired device and can reconnect when it becomes available. Clear connection and readiness messages help you see when the nursery station needs attention. Send a test alert before you begin. A CALMER DESIGN The new Hush interface brings warm accents, large controls, and clear status information to pairing, monitoring, room settings, and connection alerts. Adaptive layouts make room for more on iPhone Duo and iPad. KEEP IT LOCAL Camera images and audio travel directly between your paired devices using Apple's encrypted local connectivity. The app does not require a cloud account or upload nursery media to a developer-operated server. SINGLE-PHONE OPTION On an iPhone with calling capability, single-station mode can open a call to your saved contact when sound exceeds the selected level. iOS may require confirmation before placing the call. GETTING STARTED • Use two devices running iOS 15 or later for parent-and-baby monitoring. • Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and allow Local Network access. Use the same Wi-Fi network for setup. • Allow microphone access on the baby station; camera access is needed for video. • Keep the app open on both devices, keep them within connection range, and connect the nursery device to power for longer sessions. Monitoring is not continuous while the app is suspended in the background.
