First Meal

First Meal turns your baby's age into a daily plan of first foods, from the first taste of solid food at six months to family meals at two. Open the app and today is ready: how many meals, what to cook, what comes out of the freezer, and when a new allergen is introduced. Tap a meal and First Meal walks you through it: the ingredients, the method with a timer, the portion to serve for your baby's age, then one question about how much they ate, and the log fills itself. THE PLAN • A week-by-week plan from six months to 24 months, with the right number of meals and textures for each stage. • Allergens one at a time, at breakfast, on the days the guidance recommends, with the first-time amount. If a breakfast is refused or your baby is unwell, the plan waits. • Freezer meals and batch cooking written into the week, so you always know what to defrost tonight, with a shopping list for the days ahead. • Optional reminders before meals and for defrosting, and today's meals on your Home Screen with the widget. THE MEAL • Each meal guided step by step, with a timer that follows the recipe and keeps running on the Lock Screen. • Spoon-fed, baby-led or mixed: every recipe shows how to serve it your way, at your baby's age. • The amount to serve and the signs your baby is full, so you never have to guess or push for an empty bowl. THE RECIPES • More than 130 recipes for babies and the whole family, from single first tastes to family dinners with the baby's portion taken out before seasoning. • No salt, no sugar, no honey, nothing whole that can block an airway. Every recipe is checked against the rules before it ships. • Filters for family meals, freezer-friendly and iron-rich, and search by ingredient. First Meal is not medical advice and does not replace your doctor, health visitor or paediatrician. If your baby has a diagnosed allergy, eczema, a family history of allergy or a medical condition, the app asks you to check with your doctor before introducing allergens.
