Dot by Dot: Pixel Art & GIF

Make pixel art, animated sprites, and tiny worlds with Dot by Dot. Start from a blank canvas or explore 26 editable templates, then make every pixel your own. DRAW WITH CONTROL Use a pencil, eraser, flood fill, color picker, selection tools, and horizontal or vertical mirrors. Zoom and pan for a closer look, and use the precision magnifier for detailed work. Organize your artwork with layers, opacity controls, and undo and redo. BRING YOUR PIXELS TO LIFE Create, duplicate, and arrange animation frames. See the previous frame as an overlay and preview your animation at 1 to 24 frames per second. SAVE AND EXPORT Projects save automatically on your device. Back up and import editable .dotbydot files through system file controls. Export PNG images with transparency and animated GIFs, then share them with the apps you choose. A USEFUL FREE EDITOR Create 64 x 64 projects with up to 3 layers and 8 frames. Saving, PNG export, and GIF export are included, with no watermark. OPTIONAL LIFETIME PRO A single non-consumable purchase unlocks larger canvases up to 512 x 512, more layers and frames, Pro templates, and sprite sheet export. Canvas, layer, and frame sizes share a bounded resource limit, so the largest canvases support fewer layers and frames together. No subscription is required. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE No accounts, ads, analytics, or cloud servers. Drawing, animation, storage, and export work offline. An internet connection is needed to purchase or restore Pro through the App Store. Designed for iPhone and iPad, with responsive controls and a dedicated layer panel on larger tablet screens.
