About YumLog: AI Calorie Tracker
YumLog is the calorie tracker you just talk to. Raise your wrist and say "200 g salmon and my usual rice", and YumLog logs the calories, protein, carbs and fat, then tells you what it assumed. No database to search, no barcode to hunt for. SAY IT, TYPE IT OR SNAP IT Tell YumLog what you ate the way you'd tell a friend: "two eggs and toast with butter", "a large latte", "half a pepperoni pizza". It works out the portion, the numbers and the meal. Snap a photo of your plate or a nutrition label and it reads that too. A wrong guess is one sentence away from right: "actually it was 150 g" fixes it. MADE FOR APPLE WATCH Tap the mic on your Apple Watch, say what you ate, and it's logged before you lower your wrist. Put YumLog on a complication or the Action button and it opens already listening. The Smart Stack shows what's left for the day at mealtimes. YOUR DAY, ON A PLATE What's left to eat today is a ring of food on a plate: a Rainbow Roll, a sausage, a pizza, a donut and more. Every meal you log takes a bite, and at your goal there's nothing but crumbs. YOUR USUALS AND RECIPES Save the foods you have often, like your morning coffee or a go-to lunch, and "my usual coffee" logs it exactly as you saved it. Save recipes once and log a serving whenever you cook them. Add notes on how you eat, like a milk you always use, and YumLog goes by them. KNOW WHERE YOU STAND Ask "how am I doing this week?" or "how much is left today?" and get a straight answer: calories left, your average against your goal, and how your weight is trending toward your target. ON IPAD AND MAC On iPad, Today sits beside your chat, progress and library, with keyboard shortcuts when there's a keyboard. On the Mac, your month, your day and your progress are side by side. One account and one subscription work on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. APPLE HEALTH YumLog can read your weight from Apple Health, so weigh-ins from your scale count toward your progress, and your height, age and sex to suggest a calorie goal. It saves the meals you log and your weigh-ins back to Apple Health. Connecting Apple Health is optional. PRIVATE BY DESIGN YumLog asks before anything goes to an AI provider and names who processes what. Your data is never sold or used for advertising, meal photos are deleted after 30 days, and deleting your account in the app deletes everything. SUBSCRIPTION YumLog is free to download, and logging food by hand is always free. Logging by voice, chat and photo, the assistant, and every ring style beyond Classic, Pizza and Donut need a YumLog subscription, monthly or annual, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase after the trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings. YumLog gives estimates to help you track, not medical advice. It's for adults 18 and older. What’s new
Version 1.3 · Updated November 2, 2026
YumLog on iPad and Mac, and notes it goes by. • On iPad, Today sits beside Chat, Progress and Library, so your day stays in view while you ask or look back. With a keyboard, ⌘N starts a log, ⌘1 to ⌘4 switch between Today, Chat, Progress and Library, ⌘← and ⌘→ go a day back or forward, ⌘T comes back to today, and Esc leaves the log bar. • YumLog is on the Mac too: your month and the day's ring on the left, the day's meals or chat in the middle, and Progress or Library beside them. It's the same account and subscription as on your iPhone. • Notes, in Library: write down something lasting about how you eat, like a milk you always use, and YumLog goes by it when it works out what you had. • Food from a restaurant or coffee chain now gets the chain's own published figure, and the answer says whose figure it is. • On iPhone Duo, turning it back upright goes back to Today. • Meals and chat fade out under the log bar instead of running into it.
