Basic Ledger is a simple khata (ledger book) for your shop, your business or your home. Write what came IN and what went OUT for every customer, and always know who owes what. Use it as your udhar khata, your hisab kitab or your daily cash book, with credit and debit for every customer in one place. Everything stays on your phone. The app works fully offline and needs no account. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Keep many businesses separate, each with its own customers and totals • Add IN and OUT entries in seconds with the built-in calculator • See every customer's balance, and the balance after each entry • Sort customers by recent activity, by name or by the biggest balance • Search customers by name, phone or address, and entries by amount or details • Filter entries by date: today, 7 days, 30 days, this month, 1 year or your own dates • Write notes in English or Urdu • Share a PDF statement for any dates, with the opening balance, a running balance on every line and the closing balance. Urdu text prints correctly too • Roznamcha: a daily log of every entry added, changed, deleted or restored, with undo • Deleted an entry by mistake? Tap Undo, or restore it later from the Trash • A small to-do list that floats over every screen (you can turn it off in Settings) BACKUP YOU CONTROL Make one backup file with all your data and save it to Google Drive, WhatsApp, email or your phone.
