About Restaurant Tycoon: Cucina
Your own Italian restaurant, from the first table to a full dining room. Take the orders, cook, serve, and build the place the way you like it. Restaurant Tycoon hands you a small trattoria that is ready to open. At first you do everything yourself: tap a table to take the order, choose the dish at the stove, serve it, collect the bill and clear the table. Then you hire staff, the service starts to run on its own, and you get to decide what comes next. RUN THE SERVICE • Customers come in alone or in groups, order, eat and pay. Look after them and they leave a tip. • Cook to order or cook ahead. Ready dishes wait on the counter, but not forever: a dish that goes cold is thrown away. • Keep the place clean. Clear the tables, mop the floor, look after the restroom: guests notice. • Every visit counts towards your restaurant's star rating. A MENU OF 16 ITALIAN DISHES • Antipasti, primi, secondi and dolci, from bruschetta and scrambled eggs to lasagne, mushroom risotto, ossobuco and tiramisu. • New dishes unlock as your restaurant levels up. • Cook a dish well often enough and it earns bronze, silver and gold mastery. STAFF WHO LEARN ON THE JOB • Hire waiters, cooks and cleaners. • Each one gains experience and levels up: waiters learn to carry two plates at once, cooks learn to keep more than one batch going and to prepare popular dishes ahead. • In a hurry? Pay for training with the coins you earn. FURNISH AND DECORATE • A shop of tables, chairs, stoves, ovens, counters, restroom fixtures and decor: bistro, rustic and modern sets, plants, an aquarium, a jukebox. • Move, rotate or sell any piece whenever you like. • More than 30 floor, wall and kitchen-floor styles to buy with in-game coins, each with a live preview before you buy. • Need more room? Expand the restaurant. SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY • A daily reward that grows over seven days, one free spin of the wheel and a set of daily quests. • The "Coming up next" screen always shows what the next levels unlock. FAIR BY DESIGN • Free to play, and playable offline. No account, no login. • No forced ads. Short videos are always optional: sometimes the game offers you a helping hand in exchange for a video, and "No thanks" costs you nothing. Players under 13 are not shown ads at all. • In-app purchases are optional and one-time: premium floor and wall styles, the Art Deco Collection, and a Supporter Pack with two exclusive styles and 2 video bonuses a day without watching the video. What's new in 1.1.0: your restaurant grows, and there's a lot more to run. NEW LOOK • A redesigned, more compact interface: your restaurant card with level and stars at the top, your money on the right, and buttons that float over the scene to leave more room for the restaurant. • Every menu now opens as a sheet: it slides up when upright and sits on the right when sideways, so the restaurant stays in view. Bigger, easier-to-read text. • Speech bubbles with icons drawn like the game's objects. • New app icon and loading screen: the chef in front of his restaurant. THE WAREHOUSE • From level 6 you order ingredients and toilet paper: a truck drops the boxes at the entrance and you tap them to put them away. • 6 warehouse levels, bigger stocks and discounts up to 20%. Order wisely: if a dish runs out of ingredients, the kitchen can't make it. YOU PICK THE MENU • From level 4, the chalkboard by the entrance: choose which dishes to serve, from 4 up to 12 slots. The others wait on the bench and you swap them for free whenever you like. NEW MACHINES AND A BIGGER KITCHEN • The Grill for steak, tagliata and saltimbocca, and the Braiser for risotto and ossobuco, each with its own animations. The oven now bakes pizza, lasagne, sea bass and parmigiana. • The kitchen starts bigger and grows with every expansion. THE CITY COMES ALIVE • Police cars drive by, and from level 12 police officers come to eat: while they're seated, nobody dines and dashes. • Guests who run off without paying can be stopped and handcuffed. • From level 19, rarely, a robbery: tap the red phone to call the police before they get away with the loot. MORE TO MANAGE • Guest requests: compliments, complaints and special requests to answer in time. • You open the restaurant: it closes at the end of each service, and you tap OPEN when you're ready for the next one. • Stylish chairs and tables give a comfort bonus; the pass counter comes in five styles. • More seats bring more guests: EXPAND tells you how many more will come. • Your staff earn a small wage after each service, and you never go into the red. • The restroom opens at level 5, with the first toilet for free. • No more dishes to wash: the kitchen never stalls. Dishwashers, dishwashing staff and the washing area are refunded. AND MORE • Levelling up is a real party, and new dish cards tell you everything before you pick. • In the Staff menu you can call an extra waiter or cook for 10 minutes with an optional video. • Optional notifications for the wheel, bonuses, missions and events, never at night.
