About Bota: Learn Kazakh for Kids

Bota is a little camel traveling across the Kazakh steppe — mountains, a yurt and tulips. With Bota, your child learns numbers, letters, colors, shapes, words and time in Kazakh, and then counts, adds, takes away, writes and reads. • Сандар (numbers 1–10): short levels. Each number introduces itself; «Үш қайда?» — find it among three; «Екі алма жина!» — collect that many into the basket; «Қанша?» — count the animals. • Үлкен сандар (11–99): tens made of carrot bundles («он жеті» is 10 + 7) and Көше, the street where every ten has its own house, neighbors and vehicles. • Әріптер (letters): the whole Kazakh alphabet, 42 letters, through the friends' names: Б for Бота, Қ for Қозы. The child traces each letter with a finger, then writes it alone: «Өзің сыз!». • Оқу (first reading): after Б, О, Т, А, a road of syllables and words opens: «б … а — ба!». A finger runs under the word, the syllables light up, and the child reads alone: ҚО-ЗЫ, НАН, КІ-ТАП, then «Бота жүр.» (Bota walks.). Every word read goes into «Менің кітабым», their own book. • Түстер (colors): every color paints its part of the steppe. In «Араластыр» the paints are mixed, and in «Бояу дәптері», the coloring book, the child paints pictures following Bota's tasks: «Суды көк түске боя!» (Paint the water blue!). • Пішіндер (shapes): circle, square, triangle, rectangle, shapes made of sticks, and now 3D ones: ball, cube, cylinder, cone. In Үкі the owl's workshop the shapes become a fish, a rocket, a yurt and Kazakh patterns — or anything the child builds. • Сөздер әлемі (words by topic): 50 words in five places — the yurt, the clothes chest, the bazaar, the farm, the hills and the lake. Bota introduces them, then «Ешкі қайда?» (Where is the goat?), «Артығын тап!» (Find the odd one out!), «Орнына сал!» (Put it in its place!). • Уақыт (time): parts of the day, weekdays, seasons and the clock. The game's sky matches the real one: «Бүгін — жұма.» (Today is Friday.). The week is a train of seven cars; «Сағат үш болсын!» (Make it three o'clock!) — the child sets the hand. The aul changes with the seasons. • Қосу and Азайту: adding and taking away to 10 in little rabbit stories. • Жайлау: every friend has a game of their own — fishing, memory, the «Бәйге» horse race, a garden, the dombra, hide-and-seek, a climb up the mountain. Ten in all. • Friends: after every level a new friend jumps out of a gift box. Feed them, counting the treats, and they grow. Bota grows up too: bota → тайлақ → түйе. Every milestone is a party — «Тайлақ тойы», «Достар тойы», «Әліппе тойы», «Кітап тойы» — with trophies on the yurt. • Жұлдызды аспан (the starry sky): Bota puts the stars earned in play back into the night sky. The friends' constellations light up, and the Kazakh star legends — Темірқазық, Жетіқарақшы, Үркер, Құс жолы. • «Ойнайық!» (Let's play!): Bota remembers what the child knows and picks the questions herself — the mix-ups, the newest things, what hasn't come up for a while. • «Енді сен айт!» (Now you say it!): the child says the numbers aloud and hears their own voice. A parent turns the microphone on; the recordings stay on the device. • «Үйде тап» (Find it at home): a task away from the screen — find three toys or two red things. A grown-up checks. • Two groups: «Балапан» (ages 2–4) — easier tasks, shorter levels; «Сұңқар» (ages 4–7) — the whole game. When the little one grows up, everything learned comes along. Mistakes are never punished: the number picked says its name, Bota counts along, and after a pause the right answer glows gently. For parents, behind a parental gate: what the child already knows, what gets mixed up, which friends have grown; the group, the microphone, the evening reminder. You can record the game's phrases in your own voice. For iPhone and iPad. No ads, no purchases, no data collected, works offline. The game speaks Kazakh, Russian and English, with a real human Kazakh voice. The Russian game teaches the Russian alphabet.
