What’s new
Version 1.0.4 · Updated October 22, 2026
• Transcription hears instruments better: piano notes are no longer read an octave too high, repeated and soft notes under the metronome's click are kept, notes held under the pedal stay whole, and a source across the room is heard. • Typing Korean or Japanese in lyrics and text boxes: Enter no longer enters a half-composed word. • Fast typing on a slow device no longer drops notes, and playback no longer stops while a PDF is being made. • Playback: ties between notes of the same pitch spelled differently are held, second endings and repeat starts are played as written. • Imported scores: files written by music21, MuseScore files with a part in a time of its own, chords whose first note is hidden, dynamics written in a music font, and clef changes before grace notes read as they are written. • Exported files open in other notation programs exactly as the app plays them.
