Spread: Recipe Book

Spread keeps every recipe you love in one tidy book, ready to cook. Save recipes from any app, a link or even a photo, scan cookbook pages, then cook from big, clear steps with timers built in. It reads recipes in English and nine other languages. Save from anywhere • Share a recipe to Spread from any app, or paste its link: a recipe website, or a post or video whose caption holds the recipe. • From a recipe page, Spread brings in the recipe with its photo, times and servings, and keeps a link back to the site. • Even a photo of a recipe becomes one: a screenshot, or a photo of a printed recipe or a cookbook page. • Paste a recipe from a message or a note, and Spread sorts it into ingredients and method for you to check. • With Spread Pro, Spread tidies messy text into a recipe using Apple Intelligence, privately on your device. • Or type in the family favorites, with photos, tags and notes. Scan a recipe • Tap "Scan a Recipe" and point the camera at a cookbook page or a printed recipe, or choose photos you've taken. Up to 10 pages become one recipe, read on your device. Cook without scrolling • Cook mode shows one step at a time in big, clear type, and keeps the screen on. • Times in the steps become timers: tap "Bake 50 min" and it starts. • Timers count down on the Lock Screen and, once you allow alarms, can ring through Silent mode. • The widget puts what you're cooking and its timers on your Home Screen, or your newest recipes. Scale it, convert it • Change the servings and every quantity scales, fractions and all. • Switch a recipe between metric and cups, and oven temperatures follow: °C in metric, and °F in cups for recipes written in US cups. Gas marks are read too. Find anything • Search by name, ingredient or tag: type "lemon" and every recipe that uses one comes up. • Find your recipes from Spotlight and Siri, and ask Siri to start cooking one. Optimized for iPhone Duo Open iPhone Duo and Spread becomes a cookbook: the ingredients on the left page, the current step on the right, the fold as the gutter. Stand it on the counter and cook. Fold it mid-recipe and you're still on the same step. Spread fits the cover display too, and works on every iPhone. On iPad Spread now runs on iPad too. Cook mode opens as a two-page spread, even with iPad upright: the ingredients on one page, the current step on the other. With a keyboard, the arrow keys step through the recipe. Private by design Your recipes stay on your devices. With Spread Pro, Spread syncs them through your own iCloud, which we can't see. Spread has no account, no ads and no tracking. It sends anonymous usage statistics to help improve the app, never your recipes, and you can turn them off in Settings › Privacy. Spread Pro Spread is free for up to 25 recipes. Spread Pro removes the limit and adds Apple Intelligence import on devices that support it. With it, Spread keeps your recipes in step on your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud.
