About CarLedger: MPG, EV & Fuel Log

Real fuel economy, real range — one photo and it's logged. No car connection, no automaker account: a running-cost ledger for people who actually drive. The number on your dashboard is a best case — steady speed, no aircon, no traffic. What you actually get is usually worse. CarLedger does not guess. It records: snap the pump or the dashboard each time, and the estimate is rebuilt from your own numbers. The longer you use it, the closer it gets. [LOG IT WITH A PHOTO] · Photograph the dashboard — range and battery level are read out for you · Photograph a charging order — kWh and the amount paid are recognised · Photograph a ride-hailing payout — logged as income If something cannot be read, the numbers are still on the photo — just fix them by hand. [EVERY KWH AND EVERY LITRE, ACCOUNTED FOR] · kWh/100 km and L/100 km, settled automatically between two refuels · Cost per kilometre: what that stretch actually cost · Charging loss: pile-side kWh vs car-side kWh, so you can see where it goes · Battery health: capacity fade made visible · Season comparison: how much more winter costs than summer · "Auto-stop" fuel calibration: enter by gauge marks and still get real litres [REAL RANGE, AT A GLANCE] · One number on the Home Screen: how far you can still go, worked out from your own real consumption — not the car's optimistic guess · Snap the dashboard once: the car's range and current charge are logged, and the estimate sharpens · Drag the bar: keep a 10% reserve, or set "charge up to 90%", and the usable range is recalculated · Petrol and hybrid too — real fuel consumption turned into kilometres left [EV / PETROL / HYBRID / PLUG-IN / RANGE-EXTENDER] · Battery electric, plug-in hybrid, range extender, hybrid, petrol, diesel — add them one at a time · Each settles and reports on its own; switch between them to compare · Saloons, SUVs, MPVs — if it drives on four wheels, it can be logged [SAY IT INSTEAD OF TYPING] "odometer fifteen thousand, forty percent left" — say it and the form fills itself in. [REACH IT FROM ANYWHERE] · One-tap recognise from Control Centre or the Lock Screen widget — take a screenshot, tap once, it is logged · Home Screen widget for your daily spend · Shortcuts and Siri work too [THE DATA IS YOURS] Everything stays on this phone and nothing is uploaded. Export to CSV whenever you like. CarLedger never reads vehicle data, needs no automaker account, and contains no ads. What’s new

Version 1.0.7 · Updated October 23, 2026

Record a fill-up with several screenshots at once: after opening the entry from a Shortcut or the camera, you can keep adding more screenshots and they are recognised together, in any order. Also fixed the status bar at the top of phone screenshots: the clock and the battery percentage are no longer mistaken for the amount and the remaining charge.
