CleanPhoto: Metadata Remover

What hidden information travels with your files? CleanPhoto removes location and personal metadata from photos and videos and creates new copies ready to share. Processing happens on your device. Your media files are not uploaded to developer-operated servers. CLEAN PHOTOS AND VIDEOS • Remove metadata such as EXIF, GPS, IPTC and XMP from JPEG and PNG photos. • Remove file metadata from supported MOV, MP4 and M4V videos. Clean videos are saved as MOV files. • Process multiple files together. KEEP YOUR ORIGINALS CleanPhoto leaves your original files unchanged. Save or share the cleaned copies. Supported videos are processed without re-encoding. WORK WITH PHOTOS AND FILES Select photos and videos from Photos or Files. Cleaned copies are saved to Photos. Choose an existing album, create a new one or use the suggested CleanPhoto album for quick access. 7-DAY TRIAL, LIFETIME LICENSE Start a free 7-day trial in the app. After the trial ends, a one-time lifetime license is required for new cleaning operations. No subscription or automatic charge. Your local price is shown on the purchase screen. Restore Purchases is available. Removing metadata does not hide faces, addresses or other information visible in the photo or video itself. Some technical format information may remain. JPEG photos are re-encoded.
