Tape Sports turns your iPhone into a yellow 80s cassette player. YOUR PLAYLISTS ON TAPE Your Apple Music playlists, albums and recently played items become cassettes in a rack. Pick one and close the lid: it slides in and starts playing. The reels spin behind the window. REAL KEYS PLAY, STOP, REW and FF are rubber keys that press down and clack, with haptic feedback. Tap to skip, hold to seek. RADIO The RADIO key switches to your recent stations and Apple Music live radio. Turn TUNING to change station; the FM/AM needle follows. KNOBS THAT WORK VOL sets the iPhone volume. TUNING steps through the tracks, one detent per track. ON IPHONE DUO, THE HINGE IS THE LID Closed, the outer screen is the player's front face. Open the phone like a book: the cassette rack is on the left, the deck on the right. On other iPhones, the yellow latch on the right edge opens the lid. Everything is drawn and synthesized live: no bitmaps, no recorded sounds. An Apple Music subscription is required to play music.
