Fit Machines

A fitness app for your appliances. Your kettle is crusty. Your dryer is full of lint. Your coffee machine has been dreaming about a descale since March. Fit Machines turns the appliances in your home into a crew of little 3D characters, each with its own fitness. Add your washing machine, fridge, robot vacuum or toothbrush, and it arrives with the routines it actually needs: clean the filter, descale, defrost, swap the brush head. Do them on time and it stays in top shape. Leave them late and its fitness drains, and it will tell you so, in its own words. No more "when did we last clean the dishwasher filter?" Your machines remember, so you don't have to. HOW IT WORKS • Every machine comes with its routines, with sensible timings you can change, pause or add to. • A fitness ring for every machine. It fills when routines are done on time and drains when they run late, from In top shape all the way down to Needs help. • You can see how they're doing. Leave a machine alone and it gathers dust, cobwebs and grime, and gets visibly grumpy. Do its routines and it's sparkling and cheerful again. • Notifications that nudge, not nag. One on the day a routine is due, a gentle nudge if it runs late. Mark it done right from the notification, or push it to tomorrow. • Your home at a glance. A daily forecast tells you how fit your home is and who needs you: "Scattered chores: 3 machines need you." • Streaks. See how many weeks in a row each machine stayed on time. MEET THE CREW 20 machines to start with, from the kitchen and the laundry to tech and personal care: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, cooker hood, vacuum cleaner, robot vacuum, air purifier, air conditioner, TV, laptop, phone, tablet, electric toothbrush, and a gadget for everything else. Each one has its own face, its own voice and its own opinions. Tap them to say hello. Spin them until they're dizzy. Tip your phone and watch them slide. Mark a routine done and they'll celebrate like it's their birthday. SHARE YOUR HOUSEHOLD Invite the people you live with through iCloud. Everyone sees the same machines, gets the same notifications and can mark routines done, and each machine's history shows who did what. The toaster finally knows who emptied its crumb tray. EXTRA MACHINES Nine more machines can join the crew. Earn three of them for free by looking after your home: mark 10 routines done, get 3 or more machines fit at the same time, or share your household. Or get all nine with the Gym Membership. GYM MEMBERSHIP The Gym Membership unlocks all the extra machines (air fryer, rice cooker, dehumidifier, lawn mower, fan, game console, record player, hair dryer and shaver) and every new machine we add. Everything else in Fit Machines is free. • Choose a yearly or a monthly auto-renewing subscription. The yearly plan starts with a free trial for new subscribers. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. • Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. • Manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you subscribe.
