Braintoll: Flashcard Blocker

Learn before you scroll. Braintoll puts a flashcard between you and the apps that eat your day. Open a blocked app, answer a few cards, and it unlocks for as long as you choose. Every reflexive tap becomes a few seconds of real learning. App blockers that only say "no" tend to get switched off within a week. Flashcard apps only work if you remember to open them. Braintoll does both, at the exact moment you would otherwise start scrolling. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose the apps that distract you most with Apple's Screen Time picker: social media, short videos, games, anything. 2. Build your library: write your own cards, start from a preset, import an Anki deck, or let AI create a set. 3. When you open a blocked app, Braintoll stops you and asks for a short study session first. 4. Reveal each answer and rate your recall. Mark enough cards Easy and the app unlocks for the time you set. You decide how many cards it takes. LEARN SOMETHING THAT STICKS • Spaced repetition: rate each card Again, Hard, Good or Easy. Cards you struggle with come back sooner, so you remember more with less effort. • Study anything: vocabulary, languages, exam prep, school, university, work or general knowledge. • 20 ready-made sets, including English B2 and C1 vocabulary, Spanish and German for beginners, world capitals, flags, the periodic table and history. • Anki import: bring your .apkg decks, including your review progress. • AI flashcard maker: turn a topic, your notes, or a PDF, PowerPoint or Word file into a full study set. Review and edit every card before you save. • Folders and sets: organize your library and choose which sets are active. FOCUS ON YOUR TERMS • Only the apps you pick are blocked. • Weekly schedule: choose the days and hours when Braintoll is active, for example during study time or before bed. • Choose how many cards it takes to unlock and how long access lasts. SEE YOUR PROGRESS • Known cards, days in a row, days studied and time spent learning, at a glance. • Find the cards you forget most and fix them. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Braintoll uses Apple's Screen Time framework. Apple keeps the list of apps you choose private, so Braintoll never sees your messages, browsing or screen content. Your cards and settings stay on your iPhone. Topics, text or documents are sent to the card generation service only when you ask AI to create a set. No ads. BRAINTOLL PREMIUM Braintoll is free to download. The basic version blocks one app and includes 3 AI-generated sets per month. Premium blocks unlimited apps, raises AI generation to 10 sets per day (30 per month) and unlocks detailed statistics. Premium is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription (the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
