OtoOi Reader is a Korean reading app with something new every day. Read real-life Korean the way it is written — online forum posts with their comment threads, short travel stories, and news written from the facts — sentence by sentence, with audio for every sentence. ■ What you can read • K-Drama Next Door — short dramas written in the style of Korean online forums: advice posts and real-life stories, comments and all. After the ending, the author explains the twist and the everyday life behind it. A new episode every day. • Kai's Train Trips — Kai rides the KTX to cities around Korea and discovers the local food. Travel notes with the facts and sources. • News — Korean news written from the facts, in an Easy and a Standard version. • Story — Kai's everyday life in Korea, told in short conversations (beginner level). ■ How it helps you read • Read first, then check: open the English translation one sentence at a time. • Tap a word for its meaning in that sentence, its dictionary form and how it is conjugated. • Tap an underlined grammar pattern for a short explanation of how it works in that sentence. • Audio for every sentence. • A TOPIK level for every piece, so you can find what fits you. ■ Words — see your Korean grow • Mark words and grammar as Known, Learning or Not yet while you read. • See how many TOPIK level 1–6 words and grammar patterns you know, level by level. • Your known-word rate on every piece shows what you can read next. • Word cards: check the meanings of words you met while reading, or marked Learning, in a five-option quiz, then update your Known and Learning marks from the results. Every sentence is written by us, so there is no material to hunt for. • Look back at your Known-words chart week by week (month by month with Pro). ■ Subscription New pieces are free for 7 days after they come out. Older pieces: the Korean text and audio are free; the translations, word meanings and explanations are part of OtoOi Reader Pro, along with all TOPIK levels and your full history in Words. 7-day free trial.
