About Rise Books

Let your books speak. Rise brings your DRM-free EPUBs and PDFs into a quiet reader for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Read at your own pace, adjust the text and appearance, save bookmarks, and return to your place. Install narration voices to listen on your device, with playback controls. Voice packs support English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish and download separately. On supported devices with Apple Intelligence enabled, ask questions about your highlighted text, current page and earlier reading. Apple Intelligence can use Private Cloud Compute for more capable answers, with an on-device fallback. Speech recognition and installed narration stay on device. Reading remains available without Apple Intelligence or installed voices. iCloud keeps your books and reading details available across your devices. Books already on your device remain available offline. The included starter book is always free. Your first successful personal book import is free once. Unlock unlimited imports with one permanent Full Library purchase shared across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. No subscription. Deleting a book does not reset the free import. Rise supports DRM-free books; protected purchases must be read in the app where you purchased them. Voice setup requires an internet connection and available storage. Book questions require supported Apple Intelligence hardware and an available model. Private Cloud Compute answers require an internet connection and service availability; on-device answers can be less capable. Web search is not included.
