About Matsuri Taiko

Matsuri Taiko is a taiko rhythm practice app for iPhone and iPad. Tap the drumhead for Don and the rim for Ka. Practice with jiuchi backing or combine three drums to create your own rhythms. PLAY THE DRUM • Choose Taiko, Odaiko or Shime-daiko sounds • Play with multiple fingers and adjust drum volume • Tap the drum name to switch sounds PRACTICE YOUR RHYTHM • Straight, Swing, Horse and Matsuri jiuchi rhythms, plus a metronome click • Tempo from 40 to 240 BPM. Hold the tempo buttons to adjust faster; the new tempo applies when you release • Import MP3, M4A, audio MP4 and WAV in Backing, then play, pause, seek and adjust accompaniment volume • Practice with videos in Ondo's visible YouTube player, including videos from pasted YouTube links CREATE IN LOOP • Record Taiko, Odaiko and Shime-daiko into three separate tracks, one at a time • Choose 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 bars • Follow a large count-in and see Don/Ka marks, bar divisions and playback position • Adjust each track's volume or mute it, re-record a track and undo the last take • Add jiuchi backing that is saved, played and exported with your project • Save named projects and copies, with an automatic draft of your current work • Export your drum arrangement as a WAV file • Start with two original example rhythms and make them your own Switching practice modes stops the previous playback. Japanese and English are supported, with light or dark appearance following your system settings. Drumming, jiuchi, previously imported audio and Loop work offline. YouTube requires an internet connection. Some videos may not permit embedded playback. The app has no advertising of its own. YouTube may display ads within its player. Imported audio and projects are processed and stored on your device; the app does not upload them. Loop records your performance on the screen, not microphone audio. Please use audio files you have the right to use. Thank you to everyone I have met through practicing taiko. Sound effects: Pocket Sound — https://pocket-se.info/ Support: [email protected]
