About Svampy
Identify mushrooms with your phone camera – free, and without an internet connection. Point the camera at a mushroom and Svampy helps you identify the species and shows the name in your language. Identification happens right on the phone, so you can use the app in the woods where there is no coverage. Svampy helps you discover mushrooms and get to know them. Remember that the app can identify a mushroom incorrectly and must never decide whether a mushroom is safe to eat. Always check the information with another reliable source – and leave it if you are unsure.
What’s new
Version 1.5 · Updated October 19, 2026
Svampy shows up as it should, and long mushroom names stay readable even when they sit across the character.
